In order to perform payments you will be directed to the safe environment of the Bank Card Centre, and at the moment of payment the card owner enters the card data in the database located in the server of the Bank Card Centre and the data is also only preserved in the server located in the Card Centre. The Centre for Standardisation will only receive a confirmation from the bank card centre concerning the completion of the payment. In order to ensure the security of data transmission, a SSL security protocol is used between the customer and the payment environment in internet transactions and the data which moves between the website of the Centre for Standardisation and the payment environment will be signed electronically, which ensures that third persons cannot overhear or change the information exchanged. The Centre for Standardisation has access to the reporting of card transactions but not to the full card number.

When using bank links the payment transactions are performed in the bank environment, as a result of which the Centre for Standardisation will not see the data you enter regarding your bank account, user names or passwords. The Centre for Standardisation will send data regarding the transaction you are performing to the bank and will later only receive a confirmation regarding the completion of the payment order. Communication between the bank and the purchaser is protected by a SSL safety protocol and the information between the bank and the Centre for Standardisation is supplied with digital signatures, which ensures that third persons cannot overhear or change the information exchanged.
