Refrigerating systems and heat pumps - Safety and environmental requirements - Part 1: Basic requirements, definitions, classification and selection criteria
This European Standard specifies the requirements for the safety of persons and property, provides guidance for the protection of the environment and establishes procedures for the operation, maintenance and repair of refrigerating systems and the recovery of refrigerants. The term "refrigerating system" used in this European Standard includes heat pumps. This part of EN 378 specifies the classification and selection criteria applicable to refrigerating systems. These classification and selection criteria are used in parts 2, 3 and 4. This standard applies: a) to refrigerating systems, stationary or mobile, of all sizes except to vehicle air conditioning systems covered by a specific product standard e.g. ISO 13043; b) to secondary cooling or heating systems; c) to the location of the refrigerating systems; d) to replaced parts and added components after adoption of this standard if they are not identical in function and in the capacity; Systems using refrigerants other than those listed in Annex E of this European Standard are not covered by this standard. Annex C specifies how to determine the amount of refrigerant permitted in a given space, which when exceeded, requires additional protective measures to reduce the risk. Annex E specifies criteria for safety and environmental considerations of different refrigerants used in refrigeration and air conditioning. This standard is not applicable to refrigerating systems and heat pumps which were manufactured before the date of its publication as a European Standard except for extensions and modifications to the system which were implemented after publication. This standard is applicable to new refrigerating systems, extensions or modifications of already existing systems, and for existing stationary systems, being transferred to and operated on another site. This standard also applies in the case of the conversion of a system to another refrigerant type, in which case conformity to the relevant clauses of parts 1 to 4 of the standard shall be assessed. Product family standards dealing with the safety of refrigerating systems takes precedence over horizontal and generic standards covering the same subject.

ISO 15223-1:2016 identifies requirements for symbols used in medical device labelling that convey information on the safe and effective use of medical devices. It also lists symbols that satisfy the requirements of this document. ISO 15223-1:2016 is applicable to symbols used in a broad spectrum of medical devices, which are marketed globally and therefore need to meet different regulatory requirements. These symbols may be used on the medical device itself, on its packaging or in the associated documentation. The requirements of this document are not intended to apply to symbols specified in other standards.

ISO 24617-8:2016 establishes the representation and annotation of local, "low-level" discourse relations between situations mentioned in discourse, where each relation is annotated independently of other relations in the same discourse. ISO 24617-8:2016 provides a basis for annotating discourse relations by specifying a set of core discourse relations, many of which have similar definitions in different frameworks. To the extent possible, this document provides mappings of the semantics across the different frameworks. ISO 24617-8:2016 is applicable to two different situations: - for annotating discourse relations in natural language corpora; - as a target representation of automatic methods for shallow discourse parsing, for summarization, and for other applications. The objectives of this specification are to provide: - a reference set of data categories that define a collection of discourse relation types with an explicit semantics; - a pivot representation based on a framework for defining discourse relations that can facilitate mapping between different frameworks; - a basis for developing guidelines for creating new resources that will be immediately interoperable with pre-existing resources. With respect to discourse structure, the limitation of this document to specifications for annotating local, "low-level" discourse relations is based on the view that (a) the analysis at this level is what is well understood and can be clearly defined; (b) further extensions to represent higher-level, global discourse structure is possible where desired; and (c) that it allows for the resulting annotations to be compatible across frameworks, even when they are based on different theories of discourse structure. As a part of the ISO 24617 semantic annotation framework ("SemAF"), the present DR-core standard aims to be transparent in its relation to existing frameworks for discourse relation annotation, but also to be compatible with other ISO 24617 parts. Some discourse relations are specific to interactive discourse, and give rise to an overlap with ISO 24617 Part 2, the ISO standard for dialogue act annotation. Other discourse relations relate to time, and their annotation forms part of ISO 24617‑1 (time and events); still other discourse relations are very similar to certain predicate-argument relations ("semantic roles"), whose annotation is the subject matter of ISO 24617‑4. Since the various parts are required to form a consistent whole, this document pays special attention to the interactions of discourse relation annotation and other semantic annotation schemes (see Clause 8). ISO 24617-8:2016 does not consider global, higher-level discourse structure representation which involves linking local discourse relations to form one or more composite global structures. ISO 24617-8:2016 is, moreover, restricted to strictly semantic relations, to the exclusion of, for example, presentational relations, which concern the way in which a text is presented to its readers or the way in which speakers structure their contributions in a spoken dialogue.

ISO 3864-2:2016 establishes additional principles to ISO 3864‑1 for the design of safety labels for products, i.e. any items manufactured and offered for sale in the normal course of commerce, including but not limited to consumer products and industrial equipment. The purpose of a product safety label is to alert persons to a specific hazard and to identify how the hazard can be avoided. ISO 3864-2:2016 is applicable to all products in all industries where safety-related questions can be posed. However, it is not applicable to safety labels used - for chemicals, - for the transport of dangerous substances and preparations and - in those sectors subject to legal regulations which differ from certain provisions of this document. The design principles incorporated in this document are intended to be used by all ISO Technical Committees and anyone designing product safety labels in the development of product safety label standards for their industries or services.

See Euroopa standard määrab isikute ja vara (kuid mitte laokaupade) ohutuse ja lokaalse või globaalse keskkonnaga seotud ohutusnõuded järgmiste juhtude jaoks: a) igas suuruses statsionaarsed ja mobiilsed külmutussüsteemid, sealhulgas soojuspumbad; b) sekundaarsed jahutus- või soojendussüsteemid; c) nimetatud külmutussüsteemide asukoht. MÄRKUS 1 Ükskõik milliste lisas E loetletud külmutusagensitega täidetud sekundaarsetele soojendus- või jahutussüsteemidele kohaldatakse 1. osas (lisa C) toodud täitekoguste piiranguid. Külmutussüsteemide puhul, mille külmutusagensi mass on piiratud, rakendatakse üksnes teatavaid osi ja jaotisi. Erandid on määratletud standardi EN 378 iga osa käsitlusalas ja jaotistes. See Euroopa standard ei ole rakendatav külmutussüsteemide korral, mis kasutavad külmutusagensina õhku või vett. Süsteemid, milles kasutatakse lisas E loetletust erinevaid külmutusagenseid, ei ole selle Euroopa standardiga hõlmatud seni, kuni nendele ei ole omistatud ohutusklassi. MÄRKUS 2 Lisaga E mittehõlmatud jahutusvedelike ohutusklassifikatsioon on toodud lisas F. See Euroopa standard hõlmab kõiki sissejuhatuses mainitud ohtusid. See Euroopa standard on rakendatav uute külmutussüsteemide ja olemasolevate külmutussüsteemide modifikatsioonide korral juhul, kui muudetakse külmutusagensi tüüpi või vahetatakse surveanumat. Hooldust, remonti, kasutamist, utiliseerimist, taaskasutust ja jäätmekäitlust käsitlev osa kehtib ka olemasolevate süsteemide kohta. Olemasolevate külmutussüsteemide eest vastutavatel osapooltel tuleb järgida selle Euroopa standardi ohutus- ja keskkonnanõudeid ja rakendada rangemaid nõudeid juhul, kui need on põhjendatud ja teostatavad. Selle Euroopa standardiga hõlmatud masina- või seadmetüüpide puhul võib rakendada direktiivi 94/9/EÜ, mis käsitleb plahvatusohtlikus keskkonnas kasutatavaid seadmeid ja kaitsesüsteeme. See standard ei sätesta abinõusid direktiivi 94/9/EÜ tervise ja ohutusega seotud nõuete täitmiseks.
This European Standard specifies the requirements relating to safety of persons and property (but not goods in storage) and the local and global environment for: a) stationary and mobile refrigerating systems of all sizes, including heat pumps; b) secondary cooling or heating systems; c) location of these refrigerating systems. NOTE 1 For secondary heating or cooling systems charged with any refrigerants listed in Annex E the charge limitations of part 1 (Annex C) apply. For refrigerating systems with a limited mass of refrigerant only some of the parts and clauses are applicable. The exceptions are defined in the scope and the clauses of each part of EN 378. This European Standard is not applicable to refrigerating systems with air or water as refrigerant. Systems using refrigerants other than those listed in Annex E are not covered by this European Standard as long as a safety class is not assigned. NOTE 2 For the safety classification of refrigerant fluids not included in Annex E, see Annex F. This European Standard covers the hazards mentioned in the introduction. This European Standard is applicable to new refrigerating systems and modification of existing refrigerating systems in case the type of refrigerant changed or pressure vessels are replaced. The part dealing with maintenance, repair, operation, recovery, reuse and disposal also applies to existing systems. Parties responsible for existing refrigerating systems should consider the safety and environmental aspects of this European Standard and implement the more stringent requirements so far as they are reasonably practicable. Directive 94/9/EC concerning equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres can be applicable to the type of machine or equipment covered by this European Standard. The present standard is not intended to provide means of complying with the essential health and safety requirements of Directive 94/9/EC.

Kinnisvara korrashoiu hanke dokumendid ja nende koostamise juhend
Standardis nimetatakse ja määratletakse kinnisvara korrashoiu valdkonna hangete korraldamise põhimõisted. Samuti antakse juhised, tüüpvormid ja arusaamad korrashoiu hanke ratsionaalsest ja kvaliteetsest korraldusest ning korraldusega kaasnevast dokumentatsioonist. Standardi käsitlusala hõlmab Eesti standardi EVS 807:2016 tegevustest järgmiseid komplekstegevusi: koodid 100 ja 500 (kinnisvarakeskkonna juhtimine, sh. haldamine ja omanikukohustuste täitmine); koodid 200 ja 300 (ehitiste tehnilise korrashoiu tegevused, sh. tehnohooldus ja heakorratööd). Enamasti ei vajata kinnisvara korrashoiu tagamiseks väga paljusid iseseisvaid tegevusi. Nimetatud teenused (haldamine, omanikukohustuste täitmine, tehnohooldus, heakorratööd) on minimaalne tegevuste kompleks, mille täitmine peab tagama ja säilitama ohutuse korrashoiuobjekti kasutamisel. Reeglina kuuluvad eelnimetatud teenused: hankija funktsioonide hulka (näiteks kinnisvarakeskkonna juhtimise teenus, mida hankija võib ka teenusena sisse osta); või pakkuja funktsioonide hulka (tehnohooldus ja heakorratööd). Kinnisvara omaniku otsustuspädevusse kuulub ka teenuste tagamiseks vajaliku haldusmudeli ja korraldusmeetodi valik (kas teostada ise või osta vastavad teenused sisse). Standardis eeldatakse, et kasutatakse sisse¬ostetud teenuseid. Muud standardis EVS 807:2016 nimetatud komplekstegevused on reeglina vahendatavad teenused, mille sisu ja maht ei pruugi olla väga universaalne ning mis sõltub paljuski korrashoiuobjekti eripärast ja selle kasutajate soovidest (näiteks remonttööd, arendamine, tarbimisteenused, tugiteenused). Seetõttu ei kuulu sellised korrashoiutegevused ka standardi käsitlusalasse. Avaliku sektori hangete korraldamist käesolev standard ei käsitle. Selle standardi järgimine on vabatahtlik, kuni seda ei ole kohustuslikuks tehtud nt õigusaktiga või hanke osapoolte vahelise kokkuleppega.
This National Standard defines the main concepts for property maintenace procurement. Instructions, forms and ideas are given for rational and high quality procurement and accompanying documentation. The scope includes the following complex activities from EVS 807:2010: code 100 (administration of the property), code 200 (technical maintenance), code 300 (cleaning and waste disposal). In most cases, not many independent activities are necessary for property maintenance. The mentioned activities (administration of the property, technical maintenance, cleaning and waste disposal) are minimal to ensure safety when using the property. As a rule, the activities should be done by: - the procurer (e.g. administration of the property service, could be bought in); or - the tenderer (technical maintenance, cleaning and waste disposal). The property owner should decide on the administration type and organising (whether the services are bought in or not). This standard assumes that services are bought in. Other complex activities mentioned in EVS 807:2010 are not very universally used and depend on the specific property and the wishes of its users (e.g repairs, owner's duties, consumable services, supporting services). For this reason, these activities do not belong to the scope of this standard.

Space engineering - Gyros terminology and performance specification
This Standard specifies gyros functions and performances as part of a space project. This Standard covers aspects of functional and performance requirements, including nomenclature, definitions, functions and performance metrics for the performance specification of spaceborne gyros. The Standard focuses on functional and performance specifications with the exclusion of mass and power, TM/TC interface and data structures. When viewed from the perspective of a specific project context, the requirements defined in this Standard can be tailored to match the genuine requirements of a particular profile and circumstances of a project. The requirements verification by test can be performed at qualification level only or also at acceptance level. It is up to the Supplier, in agreement with the customer, to define the relevant verification approach in the frame of a specific procurement, in accordance with clause 5.2 of ECSS-E-ST-10-02. The present standard does not cover gyro use for launch vehicles. This standard can be tailored for the specific characteristics and constraints of a space project in conformance with ECSS-S-ST-00.
