Online standards collection viewing service

The online standards collection viewing service is for the kind of standards user who needs to review a large volume of various standards. The online standards collection viewing privileges service provides the option of viewing a very large volume of single texts of Estonian standards for a modest fee. Depending on your preference, you can purchase privileges to browse standards in one or several fields of activity (ICS groups). If you need to, you can also apply for access to the whole collection of Estonian standards. The service can be used only by persons who have Estonian ID-card or Mobile-ID.

What is included?

The online standards collection provides access to the single texts of current and most recent withdrawn Estonian standards, to corrections and amendments thereto as well as to standard-like documents (TS, TR, CWA) of CEN and CENELEC made available by the Estonian Centre for Standardisation. There is no access to Estonian standards in English that are based on the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) standards that are available free of charge via the ETSI. There is also no access to ISO and IEC standards that have not been transposed into Estonian standards. The online standards collection contains approximately 98% of the electronic files of the above documents.

How does it work?

The online standards collection viewing service works on the basis of the standards E-Shop engine. Once viewing privileges for the online collection have been purchased, instead of the preview of a standard the single text of the standard displayed in Flash format will open in a secure window in the E-Shop. The text of a standard may be viewed but not printed or saved. To access the service, a user account in the standards E-Shop is required, and the account has to be linked to an Estonian ID card or Mobile-ID. The service works on the basis of any of those only. Furthermore, software to display files in the Flash format has to be installed on a computer. Flash Player may be downloaded here.

Using privileges for the online collection may be purchased for one year and renewed for one year at a time if desired.
The cost of the service for an organisation depends on the number of users and ICS groups desired. The price list is available here:PRICE LIST.
For state agencies and local authorities, the service is available for purchase at a discount. The relevant price list is available here: PRICE LIST FOR STATE AGENCIES AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES.
