This Estonian standard has been prepared to provide guidance for designers and builders of radon safe construction of the building, in order to avoid health detriment of radon by exceeding the permitted reference level in rooms where people are staying for a long period.
In the standard  there are variety of radoon-prone reduction measures. It is needed to consider that this list and solutions are not exhaustive and there might be other solutions to ensure radon safety, which effectiveness is examined and documentally proved.
