  Käsitlusala:

  The scope of this Standard is the protection against lightning of telecommunication lines in fibre optics installations. The object of this Standard is to limit the number of possibleprimary failures (3.1) occurring in the optical fibre cable in a specified installation within values which are lower than or equal to the limit value, defined as the accepted frequency of primary failures.
