This part of the EN 1129 describes test methods that assess the safety of foldaway beds (hereafter referred to as “beds”) for domestic use. Folding beds, camping beds, convertible bed/chairs or setters are not covered by this standard. The tests are designed to be applied to a foldaway bed that is fully assembled and ready for use.
