This standard applies to all-or-nothing relays with forcibly guided (linked) contacts. The intention of this standard is to define stadardized requirements and tests for forcibly guided (linked) operation. Existing
standards dealing with all-or-nothing relays maintain their validity. The requirements of this standard apply in addition to the existing standards wherever the all-or-nothing relays are equipped with forcibly guided (linked) contacts.
