EVS-EN IEC 61000-6-4:2019

IEC 61000-6-4 applies to electrical and electronic equipment intended for use within the environment existing at industrial locations, both indoor and outdoor locations. Emission requirements in the frequency range of 9 kHz to 400 GHz are covered in IEC 61000-6-4 and have been selected to provide an adequate level of protection of radio reception in the defined electromagnetic environment. These requirements are considered essential to provide an adequate level of protection for radio services.

Not all disturbance phenomena have been included for testing purposes but only those relevant to the equipment. Safety considerations are not covered by IEC 61000-6-4. The international standard has been approved in Europe as EN IEC 61000-6-4:2019 without any changes and it supersedes EN 61000-6-4:2007.
