The revision of the method deals with a method intended for determining the resistance of the colour of textiles of all kinds and in all forms to the action of daylight. The method allows the use of two different sets of blue wool references. The results may not be identical. A specimen of the textile to be tested is exposed to daylight under prescribed conditions, including protection from rain, along with eight dyed blue wool references.
