ISO 12311 specifies reference's test methods for determining the properties of sunglasses. It applies to all sunglasses and related eyewear. Other test methods can be used if they are proven to be equivalent. The text of ISO 12311:2023 has been approved in Europe as EN ISO 12311:2023 without any changes.
