ISO 13916 specifies requirements for the measurement of preheating temperature, interpass temperature and preheat maintenance temperature for fusion welding. This standard can also be applied as appropriate in the case of other welding processes. ISO 13916 does not apply to the measurement of post weld heat treatment temperatures.

ISO 13916:2025 text has been approved in Europe as EN ISO 13916:2025 without any changes.
