A system capable of acquiring one or more images using an optical non-contact sensing device capable of processing, analyzing and measuring various characteristics so decisions can be made. NOTE Functions of a vision system may include location, inspection, gauging, identification, recognition, counting, and motion tracking. A system using an a priori model to derive a desired description of the original scene from an image.
