EVS 920-6:2021

The standard deals with the construction of substructures of roofing materials made of wood and wood panels. The substructure in the context of this standard addresses the purlin and the subroofing and includes building the substructure of roof coverings. Of fasteners metal fasteners such as nails, screws and staples are addressed.
The standard is for use by manufacturers, designers, end-users; the simplified representation in the section of metal fasteners of the standard EVS-EN 1995-1-1 is primarily for skilled workers, as in roofers.
These technical rules are in accordance with the standard EVS 920-1.
The requirements of the standard should be followed unless the construction drawing or the manufacturer's installation instructions indicate otherwise.
