EN 10088-3 specifies the technical delivery conditions for semi-finished products, hot or cold-formed bars, rods, wire, sections and bright products of standard grades and special grades of corrosion-resistant stainless steels for general purposes.

The general technical delivery conditions specified in EN 10021 apply in addition to the specifications of this document unless otherwise specified in this document.

It is important to note that EN 10088-3 does not apply to components manufactured through additional processing of the product forms, where the quality characteristics may be altered due to such further processing.
