This Part of EN 10263 specifies the general technical delivery conditions for round rod, round bars and wire for cold heading and cold extrusion made of:
- non alloy steels not intended for heat treatment after cold working
- non alloy and alloy steels for case hardening
- non-alloy and alloy steels for quenching and tempering
- stainless steels.
