Although the standard’s status is withdrawn, it still has the presumption of conformity in the meaning of regulation 2014/68/EU and conformance with the regulation ’s requirements can be guaranteed by using the withdrawn version of the standard. The presumption of conformity is valid until a corresponding amendment is published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

This Part of this European Standard specifies the requirements for materials (including metallic clad materials) for industrial piping and supports covered by EN 13480-1 manufactured from of metallic materials. It is currently limited to steels with sufficient ductility. This Part of this European Standard is not applicable to materials in the creep range. Revision of Table B.2-9 (bolts and nuts) with respect to changes made in latest version of EN 10269:2013.
