This European Standard specifies methods for obtaining samples of aggregates from deliveries, preparation and processing plants including stocks. The aimj of sampling is to obtain a bulk sample that is representative of the average properties of the batch. The methods specified in this standard are also suitable for obtaining sampling increments which may be tested separately. Methods to be used for sample reduction are also given.
