EVS-EN IEC 62676-4:2026

IEC 62676-4 covers the planning, design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of video surveillance systems (VSS). These systems consist of image capture devices, interconnections and image handling devices which are intended for security applications in private or public spaces.

IEC 62676-4 is intended to:

— provide a framework to assist all interested parties in establishing their requirements,
— assist specifiers and users in determining the appropriate equipment required for a given application,
— provide means of evaluating objectively the performance of the VSS.

IEC 62676-4:2025 text has been approved in Europe as EN IEC 62676-4:2025 without any changes.
