EVS 835:2022

This standard applies to water mains in a building that are connected to a public water supply or a local water supply. The water supply of a building is understood to mean the internal cold and hot water piping with pipe fittings, water supply equipment and underground water pipe within the building up to the foundation. The requirements of the standard must be met in the design, installation and testing of the water supply system of a new building, as well as in the repair and reconstruction of existing water supply systems.
