EVS 924:2015

This Estonian standard applies to hydraulic structures and their construction which are built for the use and protection of watercourses and
stagnant water bodies.
The standard defines and classifies the hydraulic structures situated on watercourses and stagnant water bodies as follows:
• watercourses (e.g. canals, ditches, gravity pipelines, culverts, inverted siphons);
• impounding reservoirs and dams as well as their elements (weirs, spillways, water gates);
• fish passes;
• pumping stations and pressure conduits.
